“I have found RPM International Tool & Die to be extremely reliable and resourceful over the past 20 plus years F&P has done business with them.
The relationship with RPM is very open and where both sides challenge but most importantly learn from each other to build a better part and therefore a mold of superior quality that works first time. ”
John Kennelly, Senior Specialist – Plastic Injection Tooling
RPM International Tool and Die have undertaken our tooling requirements since 2009. Sika Technology have been able to utilise RPM’s vast design and manufacturing expertise to manage our entire low pressure die cast tooling requirements.
The quality of their work has been a significant feature of the relationship coupled with their ability to meet demanding build or maintenance time lines.
We enjoy a very good rapport at all levels with RPM staff and have found them extremely reliable in all undertakings. Sika Technology would have no hesitation in recommending RPM and we are happy to discuss this further if required.

When you’re manufacturing parts for some of the largest companies in the world, your tooling quality standards can never be too high. Our relationship with RPM International Tool and Die is based on our belief that they will provide technically brilliant tooling and work to extremely exacting quality standards. We have commissioned tooling from RPM in the past, and have found them to be excellent toolmakers and trustworthy business people.
Chip Michaelson, President On Demand Machinery
When our largest ever project emerged where we had invested a lot of IP we decided that the tooling had to be first class and we wanted to keep it in New Zealand and not have, for instance a Chinese toolmaker show our patented designs around.
We knew RPM were capable of producing what we needed but they exceeded expectations.
They are a nice bunch of blokes and the company has a very professional air about it. Very good to work with at all levels, design, technical and management.
Steve Habershon, Group Technical Advisor Cospak Australia and New Zealand
FoodCap has been working with RPM for the last 12 months. The work undertaken by RPM has been extensive and relates to the modification and improvement of our existing moulds and the development of new moulds.
FoodCap have been told by Bayer and Clariant that we have the largest acetyl and polycarbonate moulds in the world, so the challenges related to making modifications are often complex.
RPM have provided sound technical advice and expertise, not only related to mould development, but also the plastics and moulding process. Additional services provided have included extensive computer generated analysis such as MFA and FEA, design concepts or collaboration with the industrial and engineering design companies we have also been working with.
Our day to day dealings have been with Mark Vincent and Aaron Dwight. We have found the service from RPM excellent; they do the little things well, such as promptly returning phone calls, responding to emails, and providing quotes. We have frequently made short notice requests to call in and have a round table to discuss ideas or new challenges that we have encountered, and they have always delivered.
Vaughan Whyte – GM Sales and Marketing, FoodCap

“We’re very happy to report that after an initial trial run and sample evaluation, these caps are now in production, at 1 million per month.
All the cap sizes are virtually spot on. This is not so easy to achieve – it was made possible by sticking to tight manufacturing tolerances, and no mistakes being made. In this case all of this has been achieved. Well done!
Herbert Tschinkowitz, Design & Process Engineer, Impact International
