RPM is all about turning ideas into reality. We've done it
for ourselves and we can do it for you. Here's how we
started.
In 1986 there were only two of us: qualified toolmakers
Peter Smith and Mark Vincent. We established RPM in
a humble 1000 sq. ft factory with the barest essentials
in machinery.
From that small beginning, we've turned RPM into one
of New Zealand's largest engineering operations. We're
now headquartered in purpose-built 30,000 sq ft premises
on Auckland's North Shore and employ over 55 staff creating
tools and dies to make everything from stadium seating
to dishwasher components.
How did we turn a tiny business - little more than
an idea - into a tool and die powerhouse? It comes down
to experience, expertise and a commitment to reinvestment.
Then of course there's the most important factor of
all - the people we work with.
Our success depends on long-term, loyal relationships
with international and local customers and suppliers.
Ask any of them and you'll find those relationships
sustained by our uncompromising commitment to excellent
delivery times and service standards.
As an organization, we're serious about quality. That's
why we're ISO 9000:2000 certified.
At RPM we pride ourselves on providing a concept-to-completion
service. Our capabilities enable us to provide a total
service, or any individual job in the process.
