When accuracy counts you can rely on RPM International.
For seven years we've used wire cutting to create some
very intricate components, like the press-to-talk wedge
assembly for Tait Electronics' T5000 radio. Because
our clients demand accuracy, we give it to them. That's
why we have the best wire cutting setup in New Zealand.
Our
three machines - more than any other toolroom in New
Zealand - ensure faster turnaround times for your job.
The largest machine has a machining envelope of 800
x 400 x 400mm that cuts up to a 30-degree incline.
To ensure optimum accuracy these machines are located
in our purpose built 100 m2 20°C climate-controlled
wirecut room. The room's floor is also isolated from
the rest of the factory to eliminate vibration.
Our equipment and expertise means we use wire cutting
not only for press and mould tooling, but also extrusion
dies, form tools (including carbide), vacuum tubes,
splines and gears.
You can cut any shape geometrically possible thanks
to our offline CADCAM programming, developed in-house.
Add to that high accuracy and exceptional surface finishing,
and you've got top quality components - even tiny ones
- on spec, on time.
