RPM is AS/NZS ISO 9000:2000 certified by Telarc New Zealand.
RPM’s decision to become ISO accredited was driven by the need to set standards, processes and procedures all our staff could adhere to. This has given RPM a proven edge in quality and efficiency of workmanship. RPM started with ISO 9002 and expanded to the latest standard with the inclusion of the in house design team.
The ISO system brings stability to the staff by knowing what is expected of them and how to implement and suggest change and improvements for the benefit of all staff at RPM. It also gives the responsibility back to the staff for quality, as well as the management team, thus producing a quality management environment rather than a strict separate quality control department.
The added bonus is the increased customer base open to RPM, as many customers are now demanding their suppliers to be ISO certified both here in New Zealand and worldwide.
